HUBLEY FILMS ON TOUR

This year’s Believer film issue (out now!) features an exclusive DVD full of short films by legendary animators John and Faith Hubley. The disc is intended to celebrate what would have been John Hubley’s one-hundredth birthday. In addition to the issue and DVD, a collection of restored Hubley films—some of which are not collected on the Believer disc—are making their way across the U.S. for the first time courtesy of Cinema Conservancy and the Hubley family. Not only are these films indispensable pieces of animation history, they’re also incredibly fun, funny, and tender. We wholeheartedly encourage you to catch a screening near you. The Believer film issue will be on sale at most screenings, and additional tour dates will be announced later this month.
