Nora Lange’s debut novel, Us Fools, was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award in Fiction, received the Sue Kaufman Prize for First Fiction from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and was named a “Best Book of 2024” by The Boston Globe and NPR. It was also a Los Angeles Times bestseller and a New York Times Editors’ Choice. Her short writing has appeared in BOMB, Hazlitt, Joyland, American Short Fiction, Denver Quarterly, HTMLGIANT, and elsewhere. Lange has received fellowships from Brown University and is currently a fellow at the Los Angeles Institute of the Humanities at the University of Southern California. She recently moved to Salt Lake City with her family.
