David J. Morris is the author of two books of nonfiction. The Evil Hours: A Biography of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. He is a former war correspondent, and his work has appeared in The Surfer’s Journal, The New York Times, and Virginia Quarterly Review.
