Monica Sok is the author of A Nail the Evening Hangs On (Copper Canyon Press, 2020). She has received fellowships from Hedgebrook, Kundiman, MacDowell, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Poetry Society of America, and other organizations. Her poems have appeared in TheAmerican Poetry Review, The Paris Review, Poetry, The Kenyon Review,and The Washington Post. She lives in New York City.
